This weeks recipe was sent to me from Jim in Jeffersonville, IN. It’s reported he’s a real chef in the kitchen.
Beer Cheese Dip
4 cream cheese blocks
2 packets of hidden valley dressing/ranch
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 cup of beer
I would use a good strong flavored beer. Heineken works well, but you could use a light beer such as Sam Adams.
Mix well in large bowl. Use a hand mixer and slowly add the beer. Sometimes you can use a little more beer, but you have to be careful not to make it to runny. You may have to use your hands to really mix (kind of squeeze) it together. Let it sit in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving… use Frito’s dip chips
