The Football Blitz

When you talk about a team that has risen from virtually nothing to a BCS Cinderella the team Boise State comes to mind.  Their 2007 Fiesta Bowl victory was one of the most exciting bowl games in recent years.  Boise State defeated Oklahoma 43-42 in a surprising overtime victory with a series of trick plays to become one of the schools biggest victories.  Coach Chris Peterson is my featured coach this week.  He was interviewed in a series called Out of the Blue by Michael Hoffman.  He tells his story and the story of Boise State much better than anyone else.  Below is a video that details life and football at Boise State University.  The entire series Out of the Blue is also linked but runs about an hour and a half  long including commercials.  After watching this video I have even more respect for Coach Chris Peterson and his coaching philosophy.  A born winner himself he has taken a merely unknown football program and made his student athletes and football program all winners as well.  Hats off to you Coach Chris Peterson…it’s exciting to see success come for such a great individual.
