The Football Blitz

The Bedlam Series.  Most would ask what is that?  This phrase refers to the rivalry in athletics between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma State Cowboys.  They compete in all sports against each other and a point system is devised to determine an all around winner.  The winner of the annual football game does receive a crystal trophy, but a trophy is also presented at the end of the year to the all around school winner for all combined sports.  This rivalry in football dates back to 1904.  This has to be one of the oldest rivalries in the sport.  Oklahoma currently leads the series 79-26-7.
