The Holy War is the annual football rivalry between Utah and BYU.  These two schools are located about fifty miles apart playing a big role in this rivalry.  Religion also plays a big role as Utah is a state owned school making it secular and BYU is part of the Church of Latter Day Saints.  In this rivalry it is common for BYU fans to refer to Utah fans as drunks or alcoholics.  Some of those Utah fans are also part of the Church of Latter Day Saints, as well.  The Utah fans that are non-Mormon will provoke BYU fans with swearing, drinking alcohol or coffee which all are not permitted by the BYU code of honor.  It is also one of the oldest most heated rivalries in college football with Utah dating it back to 1896.  The Utes currently lead the series 53-33-4.
