Is it just that he has a horrible temper? Does he use his methods for motivation, or is is just a few players unhappy and out to get a coach?  No matter the reason, there is no reason for abuse in a program, verbal or physical.  It seems most if not all of he allegations are based on verbal abuse, but they cross the line with personal matters.  Here is Mangino’s response to the allegations.

]]> http://thefootballblitz.com/2009/11/20/mangino-the-monster/feed/ 1 Unexpected Coaches on the Hot Seat http://thefootballblitz.com/2009/11/18/unexpected-coaches-on-the-hot-seat/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss http://thefootballblitz.com/2009/11/18/unexpected-coaches-on-the-hot-seat/#comments Wed, 18 Nov 2009 23:14:46 +0000 admin http://thefootballblitz.com/?p=889 Some new unexpected coaches on the hot seat.  Mangino has done fairly well at Kansas.  This year hasn’t been so great, but yesterday a player met with athletic administrators and in turn administrators met with the whole team without Mangino present.  Rich Rodriguez is also on the hot seat and was never really accepted at Michigan.  Due to his losing season and the current NCAA investigation he could also be on the hot seat.  Rodriguez’s contract has a clause that he can be released for any NCAA infraction with no severance.  This could be interesting.
